The term liminality, when contextualized in the Internet 3.0 era, finds new attention associated with the spatial dimension and so-called "liminal spaces."  Similar to Augè's theorizing, this concept describes places of a transitory nature, such as corridors, waiting rooms, parking lots, but also supermarkets, schools, gyms, and playgrounds. 
The proposed operation sees the total de-personalization of the installation, which, through the use of sheets, becomes a white box subsequently filled with the materials of the exhibition

The first solo exhibition of the artistic duo MAalex is built on the concept of liminality: familiar subjects convey a feeling of foreignness, of distance from the people and places depicted, which become dark and alienating.
The exhibition path, which runs between video art and photography, investigates the intersection of art and installation.
Embracing in a site-specific way the environment of the construction site, which diegetically characterizes the space of a former railway shed at this time of renovation, the exhibition site is transformed into a liminal space by constructing, with materials characteristic of the construction world, a white container to house the works.
